My name is Theresa Wade.  I am a former graduate of Oxford  High School. I spent most of my early school years  as an army brat traveling around the world with my family.  I am happily married to Eddie Wade.  Eddie is self-employed.  Eddie is a skilled artisan in custom cabinetry and plantation shutters.  I have three children from a previous marriage, Jared, Audrey, and Sarah Cassity.  All three of my children have graduated from the University of Alabama.  Jared has both a business degree and a mechanical engineering degree.  He worked for an oil supply company, Cameron, for two years in Houston, TX. He now has a business making the Sideliner Medical Tents you see at most college and professional football games.  Audrey has a degree in Secondary Education/English and teaches at Oxford Middle School.  She has decided to continue her education and is working on a masters in Administration.  Sarah, is a third year medical student at the University of South Mobile.  As you can see, we are a family of life-long learners.  I was fortunate to have the early years with my children before pursuing a career in education.  My children's, father, Randall Cassity and I lived overseas for fifteen years in Singapore, Bangkok, Thailand, and Jakarta, Indonesia.  It was a wonderful experience living overseas!  Randy, is also a graduate of Oxford High School.  He has since remarried and is presently working as a drilling consultant in Vietnam.

I returned home to Oxford in January 1996 with my children.   I decided to further my education, so I chose elementary education as my career.   I enjoy working with children. This will be my sixteenth year teaching, and I still enjoy it.  I'm looking forward to what this next school year has in store, and more importantly, I'm looking forward to working with you and your child.
