OES is now a Peanut Free building. Did you know that there are two food allergies that can be life threatening? One is peanut and the other is shell fish. Three percent of the population have some sort of peanut allergy. Due to these alarming numbers all of Oxford's schools are now "Peanut Free". This includes the use of peanut oil in the process of making the food item. Please do your part in helping us help you. Become a label reader. You will be surprised at the items that are made with peanut products, remember George Washington Carver! We want to concentrate on teaching your child become the best that he can be. You can help us by making sure that NO peanut products are brought to school. Attached is a helpful listing of peanut free snacks. You can print off the list for your reference.
